Learning and editorial content
Our articles and exercises are for general information and learning. They are not official examinations or certifications. Character-grade labels describe the Japanese school kanji allocation, not a guarantee of overall language proficiency. Sources, interpretations and dates matter; corrections may be made as better information becomes available.
Our work and credited material
Japan Undercover retains rights in its original writing, artwork, videos and site design, except where a different license is stated. Third-party material remains subject to its credited license and ownership. You may link to our public pages and use the site for personal learning. A downloadable file is not, by itself, permission to remove branding, resell it or present it as your own. Permissions that apply under a stated license or applicable law are unaffected.
Use of the site
Please do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, or impersonate Japan Undercover. Do not submit passwords, account numbers or sensitive personal information through learning exercises or contact messages.
Third-party services and privacy
